In a merger, how would the valuation of “synergy” be calculated without a public market benchmark? Furthermore, would the massive capital expenditures required for AGI development risk diluting the resources needed for Starship’s development?
Honestly I think it’s really hard to call with any precision until the S-1 is public. But I think that is the problem directionally. The synergies between AI efforts and other initiatives will be hard to prove for some time, though are not unreasonable to assume coming true in a few years. Don’t mean to give a non-answer answer, I think we’ll know more very soon.
